HVAC Service Technician

Position Summary

We are seeking a skilled and motivated HVAC Service Technician to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, maintaining, and servicing residential and light commercial heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems. We are looking for a dependable professional who takes pride in delivering exceptional customer service and quality workmanship.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC equipment, including air conditioners, heat pumps, furnaces, air handlers, and duct systems.
  • Perform preventative maintenance and system inspections.
  • Communicate findings and recommended solutions clearly with customers.
  • Install replacement parts and components as needed.
  • Ensure all work is completed safely and in compliance with local codes and company standards.
  • Maintain accurate service records, invoices, and job documentation.
  • Respond to service calls in a timely and professional manner.
  • Educate customers on system operation, maintenance, and available upgrade options.
  • Participate in on-call rotation as required.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years of HVAC service experience preferred.
  • EPA Certification required.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in various weather conditions.
